More than 42,000 young people
took part in the North Dakota 4-H program last year. Nearly a quarter
of them live in cities with populations over 50,000...and a third of
them live in small towns or on farms or ranches. About half are girls,
and nearly 40% are between the ages of 9 and 11, 14% are under 9, and
39%
are 12 to 19.
Because you have a wide range of
interests, 4-H offers a full spectrum of activities. From
exhibiting livestock at the State Fair to learning about model rockets .
. . studying the insects in your collection to knitting and cross stitch
embroidery . . . studying water quality issues to trail riding or
volunteering to help in a community project . . .4-H activities offer
something for everyone.

short time to study one thing, or to participate in one activity.
- Enroll as an individual and study what you want, when you want.
- Make a family club, right at home.
- In your school, look for 4-H school-enrichment programs.
Do you have a younger brother or sister who is interested in 4-H?
Younger kids, in grades
