representing each category: demonstrations, illustrated talks,
public speaking, interpretive reading, dramatic presentations, short
take, broadcast, commercial, presentation software, video
production, web site design and 4-H promotion.
4. Describe procedure:

All participants
will receive a gift. Please remind them to look at the sponsor list
and send thank you's.
·
One first place
winner in each category will be identified by judges in preteen and
teen divisions. These participants will receive a purple rosette
ribbon. Youth identified for outstanding presentations will receive
an honorable mention ribbon (maroon colored rosette). Honorable
mention is not intended to become recognition for second place
winners.
·
Teen first place
winners in each category will receive an envelope containing
instructions for attending Extension Youth Conference (June 16-19,
2008).
Please encourage them to respond to this information within a few
days of receiving it.

If teen first place winners cannot attend Extension Youth
Conference, they may choose to accept a $50 savings bond. That
information is enclosed in the letter and the bond request form must
be returned by July 15.

5. There are
no ribbon awards for Cloverbuds on MPU Level.
6. Introduce any sponsor who
will help make awards and indicate sponsorship of the program.
7. Indicate sponsor for each
category before participants are recognized and winners announced
(if any representatives of sponsors are present, have them
recognized).
All categories
are sponsored by ND Rural Electric Cooperatives, ND 4-H Foundation,
ND Beef Commission, Cenex Harvest States foundation and ND Turkey Federation.
