Contributing to the North Dakota 4-H Foundation

The Foundation obtains gifts from hundreds of individuals and organizations to provide continuing support for 4-H programs.

Anyone donating charitable contributions has the assurance that the investment will be used wisely and efficiently.  The North Dakota 4-H Foundation offers that assurance based on the following:

  1. Policy and procedures are governed by an active Board of Directors which includes business executives and educators in addition to representatives of 4-H program participants.

  2. Operations are audited yearly and all donors as well as government agencies have access to the report.

  3. Staff are trained personnel experienced in educational program development and financial accountability, and available to provide assistance and advice to contributors.

Donors may restrict their gifts to specific purposes within the general framework of Foundation activity.

Substantial gifts may be used to establish endowment funds to increase the long-lasting impact intended by donors.

To contact the 4-H Foundation, call 701-231-8569 or email the North Dakota 4-H Foundation.
