Terms of the members was discussed and clarified.

  1. Consumer Choices Contest age divisions. The board supports the new age categories as
proposed. The board supports the optional choices for youth whose age fits choosing
between the two contest age categories. (Information from the survey of staff is inconsistent
with what the Consumer Choices Committee recommended to us and the committee is now
    also divided.)

  2. Livestock. (January 4, 2005 sub-committee report)

Enrollment form. The board reviewed the suggestion of having the enrollment form integrated into the

4-H Family Guide. Consensus was that the form should not be integrated into the family guide since a

distinction between application to be a leader and certification of a leader must be maintained for

Youth Protection Policy considerations.

The meeting was adjourned due to time limitations.
