Develop a plan prior to the event 

  1. Shooting range (safe)

  2. Personnel (certification & experience)

  3. Rules/Guidelines/Format/Enforcement

  4. Lesson plan/Uniformity of teaching

  5. Emergency Action Plan
    Medical alert/Related emergency numbers
    Safety record on equipment used
    Family guardians/Home phones

  6. Organizational chart/Order of command

  7. Insurances and coverage level -- who?

 

Plan alterations (alternative B, C, D etc.)

  1. Implement with safety and continuity

  2. Finding replacements and substitutions

  3. Be prepared for the “What If” happenings

 

Discipline: Reward & Punishment (consequences)

 

 

Evaluations after the event/Follow up

  1. Critique

  2. Constructive criticism - Positive suggestions

  3. Address problems areas - The foreseen and unforeseen

  4. Note anything unusual (behavior & conduct)
