NASP Students to be Featured on the New Age Outdoors TV Show

Zack and Thomas R. from Sioux County are very excited about being featured on New Age Outdoors TV show as NASP Youth Archers of the week. Zack is 11 years old and Thomas is 15. Both of these outstanding young men are shining examples on Standing Rock.

Through the 4-H/After School Archery program they have developed not only archery skills, but, self-esteem and self-confidence. Their leadership skills have grown and they are now mentors to other youth. Zack and Thomas also enjoy other sports such as, football and basketball. The family also takes part in traditional activities held on and off Standing Rock.

Parents, Leann and Tom, are both certified archery instructors and will be taking the archery experience to other districts this summer. When ask how she felt about the archery program Leann said, "I love it and what it has done for our sons.

Zack and Thomas will be taking part in several archery tournaments throughout the summer months.
