Homesite & Land Judging

Farm and non-farm kids learn valuable soil skills that they will use during their lives. You will learn how the soil affects the construction of a home or building and how different soil factors affect the land and its uses.

Dave Franzen, NDSU Soils Specialist, has volunteered to train youth to do homesite and land judging evaluation.

Youth who participate in these workouts will have an opportunity to attend the State 4-H Land & Homesite Judging Contest held the last week in August. Date to be announced.
