Crop & Livestock Production

My primary responsibilities are in the area of cropping systems.  I work closely with the Grand Forks County Agriculture Improvement Association and the Seed Increase Program.   Planted in conjunction with the Crop Improvement Association and NDSU Extension Service, I oversee the wheat, barley and soybean test plots.  I am responsible for the Private and Commercial Pesticide Certification programs in Grand Forks County.  I also serve on the planning committee for the International Crops Expo.

Additional responsibilities include working with the Grand Forks County 4-H Shooting Sports program and crop judging teams.  I am a certified instructor for the National Archery in the Schools Program.
