The Clothing Revue is one of the 4-H Showcase events. In the "Sew
and Show" portion, 4-Hers construct a major portion of a total
outfit, select accessories and model the outfit during a public fashion
revue. In the "Buy and Show" portion, 4-Hers purchase or
recycle a major item of clothing related to a wardrobe plan. The
outfit is modeled during the public fashion revue. Upon selection,
county participants may advance to state competition.
Decorated Clothing Item is a new event this year. The new project, Decorate Your Duds is embellishment of a garment or accessory. It may be done on a purchased or constructed item, but what is being judged is the embellishment technique, not the construction of the item. The top two overall winners of Decorated Clothing Item will advance to state competition as well. SEW AND SHOW BUY AND SHOW DECORATE YOUR DUDS Back to Events |
