Howdy!!!
Do any of you remember Mr. Rodgers, “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood”; well I wouldn’t say that this morning as I looked out and saw the white stuff laying around.  Only North Dakota can we have 70 degrees at 3 pm and 40 degrees by 6 pm.  I did however get a good start on our new yard project this past weekend.  People that drive by probably think I am building a fence for elk or something but they will just have to wait and see what next.

We went out for supper Saturday night with brother and sister-in-law and as we were about to leave we were invited to visit with an in-law party from Munich celebrating a 50 birthday party.  They were having a good time but did manage to visit some about the rains this past week, with reports from around the Munich area and north of 1 inch or more.  Its’ funny, as I write this, talking about a 50th birthday party as it seems only yesterday I was that same age but now a “little older.  The young lady, who turned fifty, enjoyed the moment with friends and relatives but relating that life has been good and can’t wait for next big celebration “60”.  I told her to hang on as it will go very fast.  She also had a sister-in-law turn “45??”  It must be in the air in that Munich country.  Well onto something more exciting.

Lawn and Garden Show!!!!
Our annual lawn and garden show will get started May 1.  Thanks to KDLR (Radio Works) for giving the time and to the local sponsors for supporting this time for you the listener to catch up on the timely gardening tips.  I will provide info pertaining to not only the vegetable garden but also keep you up to date with trees, lawns and flowers.  What’s hot and what’s not.  Stay tuned to KDLR at 8:45 Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 11:30 KDVL the same days.
