Howdy!!!!
What a weekend!!! Not bad days but darn right cold during the night time
hours. I was really worried about my tomatoes freezing Sunday morning so we
took time to cover them Saturday night. I woke up in the morning feeling pretty
good about things until I looked outside and saw the wind had picked up the tarp
and moved it over the radishes. So much for the idea of covering the tomatoes,
luckily nothing froze. I had driven by many gardeners planting their gardens
this last weekend and just a friendly reminder to use a rotation in your
garden. I say one gardener plant her garden in the very same manner as last
year and with a good rotation would go a long ways to eliminate disease
pressures on the following crops, such as potatoes on potatoes.
