Howdy!!!!!
The fall colors are sure with us and it really does become a beautiful time of
year. It is also a reminder, it is that time of year for sporting events. I
attended my first basketball jamboree, of the year, in Lakota this past Saturday
and the day brought back many fond memories of going to things with my own kids,
as they were growing up. The very same day we celebrated a birthday for my
oldest son, with my daughters’ birthday just around the corner in October. As I
was sitting around the kitchen table with family and friends, realizing how fast
our own kids grow and mature, makes a person realize that we do need to enjoy
life as it is given to us. It really is fun watching our own children grow and
mature and making some mistakes that we once made, but not willing to accept
advise from the parents until 10-15 years later. The comment comes something
like this: remember dad that time that I did this and it did not work even when
you told me it would not work. Well, enjoy the fall beauty and everything that
comes with the fall season as it won’t be long before old man winter brings in
his flurry of cooler temperatures.
Ramsey County Gardener classes!!!!!!
We will be offering landscaping classes starting October 4th and
continuing on October 18 and November 1. These classes will focus on different
landscaping ideas, will start at 7 pm, and will be held at the Lake Region
Vo-Tech center. There will be a minimal fee to cover materials for the class.
There is also a limited class size so hurry on in and sign up for this class.

registered.
