Horse and Livestock Lease Agreement

I, have agreed to lease the following horse/animal

(include a picture of leased animal for Extension File).

To for the following 4-H year

4-H members must have managing control of their animal by May1 of the current year, market animals by March 1 of the current year. Presently only leased horses are allowed at State Fair competition.

Managing control is being responsible for feeding, grooming, exercising, training, stall management and have free access to the use of the horse/animal at all times. This animal can be stalled somewhere other than the personal property of the lessee but Management Control “must” take place.

Signing this lease agreement will hold the parties responsible for their actions. Violations of this rule will lead to loss of show privileges.

This document is kept on file in the County Extension Office.
