Community Service Opportunity

The Thrivent Chapter is hoping to provide each patient with a fleece tied blanket. Thrivent will purchase the fleece for a group or individual to cut and tie into blankets. There are also kits available where the cutting has been completed and the blanke just needs to be tied. The nation-wide “Join Hands Day” is May 6, 2006, but the blankets can be made on any day that is convenient to your group. If you are interested in this project or have other questions, please contact Carmen Tronson at 662-2131 (carmen-tronson@hotmail.com) or Sandy Weaver at 682-5264 (ksweaver@utma.com). The Thrivent Chapter will need to order supplies, so please contact either Carmen or Sandy by Monday, April 10 with the number of blankets you are interested in making.
