AWARDS TO BE GIVEN
"No job is finished til the paperwork is done". That saying certainly applies to 4-H as we all have some paperwork to complete for the 2005-06 Club Year. DUE BY Friday, September 8, 2006

1. Clover Achievement Awards
All 4-Hers need to complete their Clover Achievement forms. Cloverbuds are not included in the clover points system. Forms are available from your leader. If you have any questions on the Clover Achievement System please feel free to call our office.

2. 4-H Medal Form
An application form for county medals is available from your club leader. If you are interested please submit an application to your leader. The leaders will review the categories and select one 4-Her per club per category to be nominated for the county medal.
Any age 4-Her can receive a county medal, but it is often given to 4-Hers who have carried projects in that particular project for more than one year. A list of medals and learning objectives for each area is also available from your leader. A portion of the form is completed by the member and a portion by the leader.

3. Banner Club
A form to honor outstanding clubs is also being sent to your leader. All clubs are encouraged to fill this award form out and submit it by September 8.

4. Secretary's Books
The Ramsey County 4-H Council will again recognize one outstanding 4-H club secretary. All secretary books should be completed as completely as possible and turned into the extension office by September 8.
ALL OF THIS PAPERWORK IS DUE BY
SEPTEMBER 8.

Sharpen your pencils and begin now!

AWARDS REPRESENTATIVE NEEDED
A representative, parent or leader is needed from each club to serve on the awards committee. Last year a new approach was taken with this committee that worked very well and received very positive comments, so we will again use this system. The committee will be sent copies of the award applications and be asked to review them, and return them to our office. We will then compile the results based on returned reviews to determine the recipients of the awards. Please let our office know by September 8 who will represent your club.
