Quicken Training

On January 23, there will be a Quicken training at the City Hall in Rolla beginning at 9:00 a.m.This popular software is used to teach personal and business record keeping. It provides flexibility to meet the needs of many farm and business operations. The workshop is designed for the beginning user.Cost for this training is $20.00 per person or $35.00 per couple.Class size is limited so pre-registration is required. This can be done by calling 477-5671.

Lake Region Roundup

Lake Region Roundup will be held on January 8 and 9 at the Courthouse in Devils Lake. This is a 2 day ag show that deals with topics on crop and livestock production.Speakers from the NDSU Extension Service and Industry will be giving advice on specific crops, fertility, diseases, markets,and weed control.

This year Senator Kent Conradwill speak on Wednesday, January 9, at 9:20 a.m. The title of his talk will be "Comments on the 2002 Farm Program."Both days start with a breakfast at 8:00 a.m.
