Fall Master Gardener Course Set
A deadline of August 10 has been set for the 2009 North Dakota Master Gardener training scheduled for this fall.
The program will run Friday mornings from 7:30 to 11 a.m. MT from August 28 to October 16. For those unable to participate in the morning sessions, the material will be streamed on the internet.
Non-volunteers may simply take the course for informational purposes. Volunteers fulfill class requirements as well as complete 48 hours of service for the extension office. Once these requirements are concluded, a volunteer is eligible to become certified as a master gardener. Cost of the master gardener class is $100 (volunteer) or $200 (non-volunteer).
