On-going programs

   Parents Forever is a research-based, comprehensive educational program that puts parents on the path to minimizing stress for themselves and their children.

   Parents Forever participants learn how to make informed, child-supportive decisions so children will come through separation or divorce having a positive relationship with both parents.

   Parents Forever is for:
        Parents experiencing a family transition of separation/divorce
        Parents considering separation/divorce who would like to learn more about the impacts on their family
        Parents who are divorced and experiencing challenges with co-parenting
        Parents who have never been married and do not live together, but have challenges co-parenting

   The current schedule for the Parents Forever program are from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Ward County Courthouse on the following dates:

            April 22, 2008
            May 20, 2008
            June 17, 2008
            July 29, 2008
            August 26, 2008

   The fee to attend any of these programs is $55.00. Parents showing proof of participation in WIC, Food Stamps TANF, Housing Assistance, SSI or SSDI will have their class fee reduced to $20.00.

  Circle of Parents is a mutual self-help model support group for parents.

   Circle of Parents offers those in a parenting role the opportunity to reduce isolation and develop and strengthen their parenting skills through the open exchange of ideas, support, information and resources.

   Free on-site childcare is available.
