Using the Judging Card

At an event each contestant receives a judging card for each class that they will be judging.
The cards need to be filled out completely and accurately.

Judging Card

Look at the information requested on the card. First is the contestants number and/or name. Without that information, you will not get credit for the placing score.

The 2nd line is the class line. This refers to the class being judged.  It might also be important to put the name of the person from the situation statement on the card as well. This can be written on the third line.

The placing score and reasons score will be filled in by the tabulators and the reasons judges.

Along the right side of the card are numbers in various orders; this is where your class placing is to be recorded. Do this by darkening the section behind the numbers that are in the order of how you placed the class.

If you had just judged Tanner's Pet class, your judging card would look like this.
See how the box next to the 4-3-2-1 choice is filled in.
