Each year a set of study guides is written in three different
categories. These sets of standards help you learn more about what you
need to know to make informed choices.

Beginners Study Guide Ages 8 - 10 as of 9/1/07 ●10 year olds may decide to judge in the Junior Age Category |

**Thirteen year olds (4-H age) may choose to participate in either the Junior or Senior Age Division. Thirteen year old contestants who turn 14 before January 1, 2008 are eligible to compete in the national contest, if a member of the first place team. Thirteen year old contestants who turn 14 on/after January 1, 2008 are not eligible for national contest, and would lose eligibility for future state contests if a member (top three scores) on the first place team.
