Advanced Crop Adviser Workshop Scheduled Feb. 18-19

The sixth annual Advanced Crop Advisers Workshop will be offered Feb.18-19 at the Memorial Union on the North Dakota State University campus in Fargo, sponsored by the NDSU and Minnesota extension services. The workshop is designed for crop consultants, agronomists, ag dealers, extension agents and industry representatives.

Topics to be covered during the two days of lecture and laboratory sessions include agronomic and economic benefits and risks of diversifying crop rotations, forensic investigations and legal issues facing crop advisers, harnessing the power of the Internet's agronomic resources, and soil fertility issues concerning copper and sulfur. The workshop begins at 9 a.m. on the first day and ends at about 2 p.m. on the second day.

Preregistration is required and workshop enrollment will be limited. Registration fee is $125 if paid by Feb. 6, $150 thereafter.
