Professional Pest Management Field School
Offered
June 25

A pest management field school will be offered June 25 at the North Dakota State University Carrington Research Extension Center for agronomists, crop consultants, extension agents, agricultural chemical dealers and industry representatives.

The program will include sessions on weed identification, crop injury and herbicide modeofaction diagnosis, insect identification, field corn and sunflower insect management, small grain disease management, precision fungicide application for scab management, and row and alternative crop disease management.

For further details and registration information, contact the Carrington Center at (701) 652-2951. A completed registration form and $20 fee must be received by June 18. Participation will be limited to the first 50 registrants. Application has been made to award participants eight continuing education units in pest management.
