Advanced Crop Adviser Workshop Set for Feb. 18-19 in Fargo
The seventh annual Advanced Crop Advisers Workshop, set to begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18, and conclude by about 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, will be held at the Memorial Union on the North Dakota State University campus in Fargo. The event is sponsored by the NDSU and Minnesota extension services.
The workshop is designed for crop consultants, agronomists, ag dealers, extension agents and industry representatives. Topics to be covered during the two days of lecture and laboratory sessions include the following: using growing degree day units for crop monitoring; unconventional foliar and soil amendments; communicating with the media; corn production; diagnosing field problems; and crop financing and marketing insights for crop advisors.
Preregistration is required and workshop enrollment will be limited. The registration fee is $125 if paid by Monday, Feb. 8, or $150 thereafter.
