Crop Pest Management Field School Offered July 1
A crop pest management field school will be offered Thursday, July 1, at the North Dakota State University Carrington Research Extension Center for agronomists, crop consultants, extension agents, agricultural chemical dealers and industry representatives.
The program will include sessions on weed identification, herbicide mode-of-action and crop problem diagnosis, insect identification, small grain and canola insect management, small grain foliar and head disease diagnosis and management, precision fungicide application, and sclerotinia (white mold) management.

A completed registration form and $30 fee must be arrive at the center by Thursday, June 24. Participation will be limited to the first 50 registrants. An application is being submitted to have six CCA continuing education units in pest management available for school participants.
