Beef Production Workshop Scheduled in Bismarck

A beef producers' workshop is scheduled for June 15-17 at Bismarck State College, according to ElRoy Haadem, Burleigh County agent for the NDSU Extension Service.

The three-day seminar is designed to help cattle producers fine-tune their operations in the areas of nutrition, herd health, reproduction, range management, marketing, pasture use, records and production costs. Attendance is limited to 25 participants, and there is a $50 registration fee.

Presenters at the workshop will include cow-calf producers, feedlot operators, livestock consultants, adult farm managers, and specialists from the NDSU Extension Service and Experiment Station, the Miles City Range Station, and the Natural Resources Conservation Service.
