Next, Lee Manske, NDSU area extension range scientist, will address range inventory grazing.
The topic of controlling weeds in central North Dakota pastures will be addressed by Rod Lym, an NDSU plant scientist who specializes in invasive weed control research. Following Lym there will be a discussion on cell grazing systems directed by Kent Alderin, livestock systems agent with the Sheridan County office of the NDSU Extension Service.
Karl Hoppe, the extension area livestock specialist based in Carrington, will then discuss producer experiences in feeding high-straw diets to cows.
