Three more opportunities for North Dakota cattle producers to become Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certified have been scheduled.
The certification sessions cost $15, and the producer will be certified for three years, be eligible for source verified and BQA-certified marketing programs and will have the opportunity to be listed in a producer directory. Producers who haven't attended prior sessions and want their calves to receive BQA certification this year must attend one of these sessions, according to Lisa Lee, beef quality associate with the North Dakota State University Extension Service.
Two sessions will be held at the KFYR Radio Agri-International Stock and Trade Show. The first will be on Monday, Feb. 14, at 5 p.m. The second will be on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m.
The final session will be Tuesday, Feb. 29, at 4:30 p.m. via the North Dakota Interactive Video Network. Participants can attend at the following network locations:
