County offices of the North Dakota State University Extension Service have recently received the 4-H exhibit list for the 2000 North Dakota State Fair, which runs from Friday, July 21, through Saturday, July 29. The exhibit list includes schedule, project areas and lot descriptions for entering exhibits at the North Dakota State Fair.
"More than 10,000 4-H exhibits are expected at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot this summer," says Dean Aakre, 4-H youth activity coordinator with the NDSU Extension Service in Fargo. "This event provides an excellent educational opportunity for the state's youth to interact and gain insight from one another."
The 4-H division is open to all enrolled 4-H youth across the state. Participants qualify to enter at the state fair level through the county 4-H program. For more information on the State Fair 4-H exhibit list or becoming involved in the 4-H program, contact a county office of the NDSU Extension Service.
