The IRS and NDSU Extension Service are sponsoring Straight from the Source, a workshop for tax preparers, on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at the Kelly Inn in Bismarck.
The IRS will present the latest information about the collection process, compliance issues, appeals process, customer service and third party contact and e-filing issues. The North Dakota Tax Commissioners office will provide an update on North Dakota’s electronic filing system.
The event begins at 8:15 and concludes at about 4:15. The workshop is designed to meet continuing education requirements of the North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota Board of Accountancies.
