Incumbent North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner, Democrat Roger Johnson will debate Republican challenger Clare Carlson at 6 p.m., Oct. 24 on the North Dakota State University Campus.
The debate, sponsored by the NDSU Agribusiness Club, will be held in the Century Theater of the NDSU Memorial Union and is open to the public.
"The debate serves as an opportunity for producers, agribusiness professionals, students and other citizens to ask questions pertaining to agricultural policy in North Dakota," says Dave Ripplinger, a member of the Agribusiness Club. "It also provides a forum for the candidates to clarify their positions and goals."
