Outdoor Skills Camp for Youth, July 29-31

Youth will have the opportunity to participate in activities such as archery, first aid and fly fishing at the first Outdoor Skills Camp at the Western 4-H Camp in Washburn, N.D. on July 29 - July 31, 2001.

The camp is open to youth ages 10 and older with a limit of 50 campers. Participation fee is $65. Youth will partake in a variety of activities such as campfires, fishing, swimming and whistle making. Other sessions that will be offered include:

  • Archery
  • Shotgun
  • BB and Pellet Guns
  • Fishing Skills
  • Tackle Making
  • Global Positioning System
  • First Aid
  • Fly Fishing
  • Decoy Setup
  • Outdoor Cooking
  • Photography
  • Wood Trunk

The deadline for camp registration is July 25, 2001. To register or for more information about the camp, contact the Western 4-H Camp at (701) 462-8541, ext. 251, or any county office of the NDSU Extension Service.
