4-H Members Participate in Pet Show 2001

Thirteen 4-H members helped kick off the North Dakota State Fair by participating in the annual pet show July 20. This pet show gave members the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of their pet through an interview process. This annual event allows 4-H members enrolled in the pet project to show off their hard work to the public and practice their speaking skills. All were presented with participation ribbons for their efforts. 4-H’ers are listed by county with name, hometown (if available) and pet brought to the show. 4-H is the youth education program of the NDSU Extension Service and is conducted by volunteer leaders. For more information, contact your county office of the NDSU Extension Service.
