Former U.S. Ag Secretary Bergland to Speak on Role of Cooperatives in CommunitiesFormer U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Robert Bergland will talk on "Cooperatives and Communities" as the featured speaker at the annual Bloomquist Lecture Series sponsored by the Quentin Burdick Center for Cooperatives from North Dakota State University. Bergland will deliver his remarks at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at the Fargo Holiday Inn. He has been described as a true believer in the cooperative form of business. The lecture is open to the public. Cost for the program is $10 which includes breakfast. Make reservations by March 27.
