4-H Members Win Horse Awards at the 2002 North Dakota State Fair

The following 4-H members won awards in the horse show at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot July 22-24. The 4-H horsemanship classes include the Western events of showmanship at halter, Western horsemanship, trail class, Western riding and reining; the time events of pole bending and barrel racing; and the English events of hunt seat equitation, hunter hack and equitation over fences. Classes are divided by age for 11 and under, 12- to14- and 15- to 18-year-olds. 4-H members also competed in team horse judging.
