Soybean Tour at Carrington on Sept. 17

North Dakota State University, the North Dakota Soybean Council and the North Dakota Soybean Growers Association will host a soybean research plot tour on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center.

Soybean growers, industry representatives, crop consultants and others are invited to attend the event for updates on soybean production research and recommendations. The tour begins at 4 p.m. and ends with a sponsored meal.

Tour participants will be able to view research plots and hear discussion by NDSU agronomists and crop specialists on soybean varieties, planting recommendations, crop rotation, plant nutrition, the soybean aphid, weed management and disease management.

Also, another soybean plot tour is scheduled near Arthur on Sept. 18 at 5 p.m.
