Stark Joins the NDSU Extension Service

Carrie Stark recently joined the North Dakota State University Extension Service as 4-H youth development specialist.

Stark a native of Caldwell, Idaho, received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agriculture and extension education from the University of Idaho. Before coming to NDSU, she was the county extension 4-H youth development agent in Chippewa County, Michigan.  Previous to that she was employed in Twin Falls County, Idaho, as the assistant extension educator/4-H.

At NDSU she will coordinate programs in character education and communicative arts.  “I believe that developing positive character and values in young people should be one of the top priorities for everyone,” she says.
