Keys to Successfully Contracting Consultants Seminar to Be Held

The Quentin Burdick Center for Cooperatives at North Dakota State University is sponsoring a seminar titled Keys to Successfully Contracting Consultants on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, ND. The seminar will precede Marketplace of Ideas on Jan. 16.

The event will start at 1:30 p.m. and run until 5:30 p.m. The seminar will focus on why and when there is a need for a consultant, writing the request for proposals and the contract, and selecting the consultant. Speakers include Mark Watne, economic development specialist for North Dakota Farmers Union, Don Hofstrand of the Ag Marketing Resource Center at Iowa State University, and Steve Noack of Gunhus Law Firm. Registration is $15 per person.
