Advanced Crop Advisers Workshop Set for Feb. 20-21 in FargoThe 11th annual Advanced Crop Advisers Workshop will be Friday and Saturday, Feb. 20-21, at the Holiday Inn in Fargo. This workshop is designed for agricultural professionals who advise farmers with crop production recommendations. The event is organized and conducted by the North Dakota State University and University of Minnesota extension services. Topics that will be covered during training sessions include:
The workshop keynote speaker is Elaine Froese. Froese and her husband farm in southwestern Manitoba. A member of the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors, she is a motivational speaker on farm family issues and writes a monthly column in Grainnews, a Canadian farm publication. She will speak on coaching clients to cultivate success at noon Feb. 20. Continuing education units will be available for workshop participants who are Certified Crop Advisers. Preregistration is requested by Friday, Feb. 14. The fee is $125 if received by Feb. 14. For registrations received after that date, the fee is $150.
