Corah will discuss beef marketing, consumer demand, market segments, and opportunities for North Dakota beef cattle producers to capture more value by moving further into the beef production chain. He will also talk about Certified Angus Beef and how it became one of the most successful branded beef products on the market today. "This is an opportunity for North Dakota beef producers to learn about trends in the beef industry that will be affecting their livelihoods in the future. We are particularly interested in Dr. Corah's thoughts on how the beef industry is working with the retail and food service segments of the industry," says Greg Lardy, NDSU beef specialist. Corah is a native of North Dakota and a graduate of NDSU. He had a distinguished career in beef cattle extension and research at Kansas State University. After retiring from KSU, he worked at the National Cattlemen's Beef Association for a short time. For about the last five years, he has been a responsible for retail operations for the Certified Angus Beef program. ### Source: Greg Lardy, (701) 231-7660,
