Records Indicate Small Increase in 2002 N.D. Farm Family Living Expenses
(5/8/03) The average living expenditures of 298 farm families enrolled in the North Dakota Farm Business Management Education Program was $38,139 in 2002, an increase of less than $100 compared 2001, according to agricultural economist Andrew Swenson.  MORE

Livestock Drought Strategy Meetings Set
(5/6/03) Despite recent rain, many of the region’s livestock producers are facing a season with meager feed supplies because pastures and rangeland have been stunted by a year or more of drought conditions.
