4-H to Honor Families

As 4-H in North Dakota enters its second century of service to the youth of the state, the North Dakota 4-H Century Family program wants to recognize 4-H families with a long, sustained involvement in the 4-H program. North Dakota 4-H families with a combined 100 years or more of membership and/or volunteer service in 4-H will be honored.

Applications can be submitted at any time, although they should be submitted by Aug. 4, 2004, to be recognized during the current calendar year. In most instances, recognition will occur at the county level.

Applications can be downloaded from the 4-H Center Web site at:

www.ext.nodak.edu/4h/4-h.htm.

Go to the Foundation link and click on the 4-H Century Families link. Applications can also be requested by calling the North Dakota 4-H Foundation Office at (701) 231-8569 or e-mailing tmcsparr@ndsuext.nodak.edu.

Completed applications may be sent to:

North Dakota 4-H Foundation
323 Family Life Center
North Dakota State University
Fargo, ND 58105

This program is coordinated by the North Dakota 4-H Foundation and the North Dakota 4-H Youth Development Program.
