4-H Members Compete in Consumer Choices Contest
at State Fair
The following 4-H members won awards in the
Consumer Choices contest on Tuesday, July 27, at the N.D. State Fair. The
contest teaches participants how to effectively purchase consumer
products. Contestants judge six classes and give oral reasons on three of
those classes. A class is made up of four products to be ranked according
to the information given. This year, the 4-H contestants judged sports
drinks, sleeping bags and checking accounts. Individual and team winners
are listed by county with name and placing.
