June 30, 2005 No-till Tour in Stutsman County Set for July 12 The Stutsman County Soil Conservation District and North Dakota State University Extension Service will conduct a no-till crop tour on Tuesday, July 12. The tour will focus on several area producers and their no-till operations and equipment. Producers featured on the tour are Tom Trautman, Kevin Haas and Jeremy Wilson. A wide range of no-till crop rotations, such as field peas, soybeans, corn and cereal grains will be featured. The tour bus will load at 8:45 a.m. at the Jamestown Civic Center parking lot and will arrive back in Jamestown at approximately 2 p.m. The tour is free of charge and includes a free lunch buffet at the Prairie Oasis in Cleveland, N.D.
