No-till Tour in Grace City Area Set for July 11

The Lower Pipestem Creek Watershed Project and North Dakota State University Extension Service will conduct a no-till crop tour in the Grace City area Monday, July 11. The tour will focus on several area producers and their no-till operations and equipment.

Producers featured on the tour are Kevin Black, Jeff Topp, Mark Becker, and John Gisi. A wide range of no-till crop rotations, such as field peas, soybeans, corn and cereal grains will be featured.

The tour bus will load at 1:45 p.m. at the Schoolhouse Café parking lot in Grace City and will return at approximately 6:30 p.m.

The tour schedule is:

1:45 to 2 p.m. – Load buses at Schoolhouse Café parking lot
2:15 to 3 p.m. – Kevin Black farm tour
3:15 to 3:30 p.m. – Jeff Topp field tour
3:40 to 4:50 p.m. – Mark Becker farm and field tour
5:05 to 5:25 p.m. – John Gisi field and equipment tour
5:35 to 6:10 p.m. – Jeff Topp farm and field tour
6:30 to 7:30 p.m. – Supper at the Schoolhouse Cafe
