Lecture on Equine Ethics Set at NDSU Equine Center

The North Dakota State University Equine Studies Program and North Dakota Horse Park are co-sponsoring a lecture titled “Equine Ethics to Remember Every Day” at the NDSU Equine Center on Nov. 6.

The event, which will run from 3 to 5 p.m., is open to the public and free of charge. The Equine Center is at the North Dakota Horse Park, 5180 19th Ave. N., Fargo. The lecture is one of several educational programs that the Equine Studies Program will host in the coming months.

John Hovde, a professional horseman from Epping and an adjunct professor at NDSU, will give the talk. He will discuss the ethical and humane treatment of horses and give horse owners and riders some tips on the care horses need daily.

This event also will give the public a chance to visit the NDSU Equine Center and check out the new bleachers and public address system, says Bobbi Bingeman, equine associate.

For more information, contact Bingeman at (701) 231-7726 or bobbi.bingeman@ndsu.edu.
