NDSU Extension
Service Staff Receive National Awards
Several North Dakota
State University Extension Service staff were honored at the 2005 National
Association of Extension 4-H Agents conference in Seattle.
The honorees were:
- Dean Aakre, 4-H
youth specialist, Center for 4-H Youth Development, Fargo, received
the Meritorious Service Award
- Peggy Anderson,
an Extension agent for Burke and Divide counties, received the 25-Year
Award
- Joe Courneya,
4-H youth education design specialist, Center for 4-H Youth Development,
received the National Award for Natural Resources/Environmental Stewardship
- Linda Hauge, a
Williams County Extension agent, received the Distinguished Service
Award
- Marcia Hellandsaas
and Dale Naze, McKenzie County Extension agents, and Kim Neprash, McKenzie
County Extension office secretary, received the Periodical Publication
Team Award for their 4-H newsletter
- Angie Milakovic,
former 4-H youth technology specialist, Center for 4-H Youth Development,
received the Achievement in Service Award
