North Dakota CCA Annual Meeting Set for Jan. 24 in Fargo

Certified crop advisers (CCAs) and prospective CCAs are invited to attend the North Dakota CCA annual meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Fargo Ramada Plaza Suites.

The hourlong program begins at 4:45 p.m., immediately following the Wild World of Weeds Workshop. The CCA meeting is organized and conducted by the North Dakota CCA Board, according to Greg Endres, board chair and North Dakota State University Extension Service area agronomist.

The purpose of the annual meeting is to provide a program update for current and prospective CCAs, as well as receive their input on increasing services to CCA members. In addition to North Dakota board reports, Dave Franzen, regional CCA representative and NDSU Extension Service soils specialist, will discuss international board activities that impact local CCAs. Also, Franzen will share some agricultural highlights from a recent trip to China.

Appetizers and door prizes will be available at the event. CCAs attending the workshop will receive a 0.5 professional development continuing education unit.

For more information about the annual meeting or the CCA program, visit the North Dakota CCA Web site at www.ndag.org/ndcca/, or contact Linda Brolin, North Dakota CCA executive secretary, at (701) 277-3027 or Endres at (701) 652-2951.
