National Satellite Program to Help Manufacturers Reduce Energy Costs

Food processors, manufacturers and others can learn how to reduce energy costs, increase productivity and maximize profits at a live national satellite conference hosted at North Dakota State University on March 9.

“Industrial Efficiency Initiative: Save Energy, Maximize Profits” is produced by the U.S. Department of Energy, Northwest Food Processors Association and Food-processing Industry Resource Efficiency Team.

The program will focus on proven management strategies, innovative technologies and techniques to reduce energy costs, increase productivity and maximize profits.

The program will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CST at the NDSU Memorial Union Peace Garden Room. Registration is $60. Register online at www.nwfpa.org or by calling NWFPA at (503) 327-2200. Parking is available in the campus visitors’ lot, and lunch is available in the Union.

The program also will be hosted by the Williston Area Economic Development Partnership at Stevens Hall, Williston State College.
