March 7, 2006 NDSU Extension Service Helps People Live Well Raising children, healthy eating, spending wisely and living well are the goals of this year’s Living Well Week, which runs March 12-18. The week is a good time to check out what the North Dakota State University Extension Service has to offer to help people reach those goals, says Stutsman County Extension agent Eunice Sahr. The Extension Service provides information on nutrition, home and food safety, parenting, managing family finances and balancing work and family life. “There is an Extension presence in every county,” Sahr says. “Check us out and see what’s available.” Visit www.ext.nodak.edu to find a local Extension Service office. Also look for Living Well bookmarks and brochures at the local library and other public places. The bookmarks and brochures have tips on living well and information about the programs and services the Extension Service provides. For more information about the Living Well campaign, visit the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences-sponsored Web site at www.learningandlivingwell.org. ### Source:
