4-H Round
Robin Livestock Showmanship Winners Named at State Fair
Champion and reserve
champion winners in beef, dairy, sheep, swine and goat showmanship competed
against each other in the round robin livestock showmanship contest at
the North Dakota State Fair in Minot Saturday, July 29. Each 4-H’er
showed each species. Awards were sponsored by the North Dakota Veterinary
Medial Association.
Cass
Brooke Jameson,
Kindred, won the 4-H round robin livestock showmanship in the senior
division. She moved into the round robin competition after receiving
a reserve champion placing in swine showmanship.
Mercer
Stefanie Bohrer,
Stanton, won the 4-H round robin livestock showmanship in the intermediate
division. She moved into the round robin competition after receiving
a champion placing in swine showmanship.
Tara Bohrer, Stanton, was awarded reserve champion in the round robin
senior division. She moved into the round robin competition after receiving
a champion in swine showmanship.
Stutsman
Clay Hatlewick,
Jamestown, won the 4-H round robin livestock showmanship in the junior
division. He is a member of the Stutsman County 4-H and moved into round
robin competition after receiving a champion placing in beef showmanship.
Ward
Wyatt Hansen, Ryder,
was awarded reserve champion in the round robin intermediate division.
He moved into the round robin competition after receiving a champion
in meat goat showmanship.
John Klein, Max,
was awarded reserve champion in the round robin junior division. He
moved into the round robin competition after receiving a champion in
sheep showmanship.
